FFA Announcements

New Senior Scholarship Program

This is the first year the Foundation for the Fine Arts will be sponsoring a senior scholarship program. Students in the Fine Arts department work extremely hard to excel in their chosen discipline. We are very excited to be able to recognize those outstanding students with this new scholarship program. The FFA plans to continue this program every year and hopes to expand the number of scholarships offered each year. The application and guidelines will be available on the website in January. Applications will be due in March. The selected recipients will be awarded their scholarships at the Annual CHS Honors Night in the spring.

Please note that all student applicants must be members of the Foundation for the Fine Arts. Families can join the Foundation at any time during the year. Membership information can be found on the website.

Celebration of the Arts Event

We are very excited to announce our first annual Centennial High School Celebration of the Arts. This event is a joint effort between the FFA and Fine Arts Department. The event will showcase performances from all of the Fine Arts Disciplines; Band, Orchestra, Chorus and Theater. The Visual Arts department will host an art show that can be viewed during the event. This event occurs during the month of March which is “National Arts Month”. The event is scheduled on March 22^nd. All Centennial families are invited to attend the event and see many wonderful performances by our very talented Fine Arts students.

The Foundation for the Fine Arts is currently seeking Fine Arts parents who are interested in getting involved with the FFA and Fine Arts Departments. For information on available positions, please contact any current board member.
